About

Al Hoota Cave is one of Oman’s most remarkable natural wonders, located at the foot of the Al Hajar Mountains near the town of Al Hamra in the Ad Dakhiliyah region. This stunning limestone cave system is estimated to be over 2 million years old and stretches for about 4.5 kilometers, though only around 500 meters are accessible to the public. Al Hoota Cave offers a fascinating glimpse into the geological and natural history of the region, showcasing spectacular stalactites, stalagmites, and other limestone formations created by centuries of mineral-rich water dripping through the rock.
